Vehicle Damage? Or Vehicle History Mistake?

On the CARFAX report, this vehicle was showing a "damage" report, tripping the yellow triangle and forever tainting the the resale value and visibility of this car. Shoppers who search for "clean history report only" will never see it listed for sale.

But what really happened? Well, I partnered with Bumper.com and got insights I've never gotten before.. turns out it was a $10... Child Safety Lock Sticker!?

The amount of information you may find on a car you own or a car you're considering purchasing might surprise you. And dealerships.. can we agree it would be helpful to know what vague entries like "damage reported" really means if that information is available? I know it will be much easier for my dealership to resell this GLC Coupe knowing what that "damage" really was!
