Welcome to New Rockstars’ Harry Potter Rewatch series, in which we revisit the eight Harry Potter films from 2001 to 2011 to break down Easter Eggs, missed details, lore, and interesting deeper layers of meaning from this series. This is the FIFTH installment, as we revisit Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007). The longest and most complex of JK Rowling's books gets adapted into a dense film about prophecy, media, politics, and teen romance, with lingering mysteries about the Veil, the Department of Mysteries, Voldemort, Neville Longbottom, Sirius Black, and the Death Eaters! What lessons did Harry fail to learn that set up his mistakes with Draco Malfoy and Snape in Half-Blood Prince? What does HBO need to change / keep about Harry Potter in its upcoming TV series reboot?

While I was in Florida earlier this year, I was lucky enough to be invited over to my good friend @tavarish's eye-watering HQ where his incredible videos come to life.

Behind an unassuming garage door, I was treated to his incredibly eclectic mix of cars up close and personal.

It's great to see such a contrast between Italian exotics and obscure JDM trinkets, reflecting Tavarish's deep knowledge and passion for all corners of car culture. It's fantastic to see how far Freddy has come in the last decade or so.

A huge thanks to Tavarish for showing me around – stay tuned for Part 2, where he shows me the other half of his collection...

Russell T Davies returned. David Tennant came back. Ncuti Gatwa was cast as the Doctor. Disney+ signed on. A spin-off was announced. Everything seemed to be falling into place.

So how did we end up here?

With Doctor Who now heading into another wilderness period, Russell T Davies stepping down, Bad Wolf moving on, Disney+ exiting the partnership, and the Christmas Special cancelled, I wanted to look back at the entire RTD2 era and pinpoint exactly where things started to go wrong.

From the excitement of the 60th Anniversary Specials to the mixed reception of Seasons 1 and 2, the falling ratings, behind-the-scenes rumours, and the many unanswered mysteries left behind, this is the story of Doctor Who's rise and fall.
