Jonathan Carley and Mitra Djalili battle every Cyberman ever in The War Doctor Rises: Cybergene, an epic full-cast audio drama released today.
The endless struggle between the Time Lords and the Daleks rages on, but it’s a different old enemy causing trouble for the War Doctor (Jonathan Carley) in his latest explosive audio adventure.
When his fight against the enemies of Gallifrey brings him to a war-torn planet, the Doctor discovers injured soldiers being kept alive by technological augmentation – the Cybermen (Nicholas Briggs) have entered the Time War!
With the help of battle-hardened surgeon Nesta (voiced by Ted Lasso star Mitra Djalili), the Doctor visits a planet plagued by natural disasters, explores the depths of a Cyberman tomb, and comes into conflict with every variant of the metal villains seen on TV. But which higher power is pulling the strings of this far-reaching plot?

The guest cast of The War Doctor Rises: Cybergene includes Wayne Forester as Jellik/Cardew, Harriet Kershaw as Tyrus, Shogo Miyakita as Orgreave, Nicholas Khan as Davius, Rachel Atkins as Vargeth, Clive Hayward as Vokol, Glen McCready as Captain Rorval, and Tracy Wiles as Ensign Zolan.
Lead actor Jonathan Carley said: “When I first took on the War Doctor, I thought, ‘We know a lot about what the Daleks and Time Lords are up to, but what about the Cybermen, the other big cheese in the Doctor Who world?’ I don't think they’ve ever been done in this era before.
“This one was sold to me with the opening line of ‘every Cyberman ever’. I was in, I was raring to go, and it has not disappointed – it's totally delivered on that, and a few original Cybermen in between.”
His co-star Mitra Djalili added: “I absolutely love it. I like a strong female lead and I’m very fortunate to be playing one. When I was a child watching Doctor Who, I never would have thought in a million years that later on down the line I’d be involved. And it’s absolutely wonderful.
“I relate to Nesta quite well. I wonder how much of a coincidence it is when I’m offered parts like this, because she’s quite brittle, she’s quite sarcastic, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly. She has the courage of her convictions, but she also does have a soft centre.”

Another clip which only has very low quality versions here on YT that I felt deserved better. Ripped off the Series 3 blu-ray, the full uncut sequence that Martha fast forwards through in the episode "Human Nature". Decently upscaled to 1080p and properly deinterlaced to 50p (since the deleted scenes were never processed down to 25p, the raw 50i is visible in them).

Join me as I get to drive an Aston Martin Rapide to a surprise drive-by car show for a kid's 10th birthday! There are still strict limits on public gatherings, and that means traditional car shows are no longer possible. What better way to skirt around the rules than having the car show come to you?! Hearing the roar of various V8's, V10's and V12's right in front of your own house is the ideal birthday soundtrack. This was a really fun event that I wasn't even planning on filming, but I'm sure glad I did because it was so cool!

Today, we resurrect a forgotten project car for a very special reason. My friend, Mat Armstrong (@MatArmstrongbmx ) frequently comes over and builds a car at my shop, and we need to give him a courtesy vehicle worthy of his brand. That's why we chose our 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Limited, a car we used for Car Trek, but have since forgotten about.
We put some new life into this aging SUV, along with some very unique mods, then we present it to him. Fingers crossed that he likes it.

While I was in Florida earlier this year, I was lucky enough to be invited over to my good friend @tavarish's eye-watering HQ where his incredible videos come to life.
Behind an unassuming garage door, I was treated to his incredibly eclectic mix of cars up close and personal.
It's great to see such a contrast between Italian exotics and obscure JDM trinkets, reflecting Tavarish's deep knowledge and passion for all corners of car culture. It's fantastic to see how far Freddy has come in the last decade or so.
