Should Deadpool & Wolverine get a sequel? Marvel Studios has indicated they're open to the characters returning in the MCU, as soon as possible. But when this happens, who should be on the team? Is it time for Gambit to return? Should a followup film pull on the thread of the John Byrne Wolverine fighting Hulk? In this episode of The Sneak Peek, Erik Voss and Jessica Clemons look ahead to the future of fandom, and discuss what it really takes to be a good director in Hollywood.

Official music video for Katy Perry's "Roar" brought to you in Junglescope directed by Grady Hall & Mark Kudsi and produced by Javier Jimenez, Danny Lockwood, Patrick Nugent, Derek Johnson and Oualid Mouaness.

Lyrics:
I used to bite my tongue and hold my breath
Scared to rock the boat and make a mess
So I sit quietly
Agree politely

I guess that I forgot I had a choice
I let you push me past the breaking point
I stood for nothing
So I fell for everything

(Pre-Chorus)
You held me down but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake the ground

You held me down but I got up
Get ready ’cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

(Chorus)
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter
Dancing through the fire
‘Cause I am a champion
And you’re gonna hear me roar

Louder, louder than a lion
‘Cause I am a champion
And you’re gonna hear me roar
You’re gonna hear me roar

Now I’m floating like a butterfly
Stinging like a bee, I earned my stripes
I went from zero
To my own hero

(Pre-Chorus)
You held me down but I got up
Already brushing off the dust
You hear my voice, you hear that sound
Like thunder, gonna shake the ground

You held me down but I got up
Get ready ’cause I’ve had enough
I see it all, I see it now

(Chorus)
I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter
Dancing through the fire
‘Cause I am a champion
And you’re gonna hear me roar

Wisp - Your face | Vevo DSCVR Artists To Watch 2025

Wisp moves softly around our DSCVR stage, whispering haunting lyrics about a lovelorn character, reminiscing over past relationships and unrequited love. Shrouded in strands of auburn hair, her mysterious demeanor belies her reputation as one of Gen Z’s most prominent shoegaze acts. Her breakthrough single, “Your face,” sticks to the sound of the genre’s early ‘90s roots – fuzzy guitars, analog synths, and hazed out vocals – but recontextualizes it for the digital age, breathing new life into a scene often characterized by its unchanging sound.
In her breakthrough EP, ‘Pandora’, Wisp’s music isn’t exactly lo-fi, but it does have an underwater quality that becomes hypnotic as the project moves from song to song. Her moody, sometimes brutal, sound has transcended audiences, as rock and rap fans alike have rallied to support the California native’s rise. There’s even an edge in the way she talks about her past life as a college student majoring in comp-sci, “It was probably the thing that I hated the most at the time.” This My Bloody Valentine fan is a rare gem in our DSCVR Artists to Watch 2025 roster: a mysterious, poetic singer with heater after heater in a genre often thought dead. Having admitted to us that performing in front of crowds is “the best feeling,” Wisp took “I remember how your hands felt on mine” and “Your face” to new heights. Here we could conclude with her plans for an upcoming album, but in the spirit of Wisp, let’s keep things mysterious.

LYRICS:

Come, ye sinners, lost and hopeless,
Jesus’ blood can make you free;
For He saved the worst among you,
When He saved a wretch like me.

And I know, yes, I know
Jesus’ blood can make the vilest sinner clean,
And I know, yes, I know
Jesus’ blood can make the vilest sinner clean.
To the faint He giveth power,
Through the mountains makes a way;
Findeth water in the desert,
Turns the night to golden day.
In temptation He is near thee,
Holds the pow’rs of hell at bay;
Guides you to the path of safety,
Gives you grace for every day.
He will keep thee while the ages
Roll throughout eternity;
Though earth hinders and hell rages,
All must work for good to thee.

After a pretty wild year of new car releases, Thomas and James are ready to pick the Throttle House Car of the Year (THCOTY) for 2024. There are some rather interesting cars to choose from this year, for both the car of the year award and our flat tire award. There’s a big dedicated off-roader, the Ineos Grenadier, a big drift machine EV, the Ioniq 5 N, and a big sharp-angled spectacle, the Tesla Cybertruck and so much more. Watch as Thomas and James review the cars of 2024. We hope you enjoy the episode. Subscribe!

Toronto, we are here. The 2024 Rolls Royce Spectre ($495,000 starting in Canada, $422,750 in the US) is the very first EV to proudly wear the double R logo. In lieu of a silky smooth twin turbo V12, the Spectre has two electric motors making a silent 577 horsepower and 664 lb ft of torque. Befitting a true Rolls Royce, the Spectre is bespoke to the buyer and has numerous options to beautify both the interior and exterior with artistic designs. It also aims to provide a cabin that is effortless, comfortable and quiet.

But how has the transition to electric power affected the driver and their passengers' enjoyment of a Rolls Royce? Thomas and James are excited to find out! We hope you enjoy the episode! And then subscribe, silly.

This Lotus Elise S2 is an ultra-lightweight mid-engined roadster powered by a high strung Toyota 4 cylinder engine. It sits alone in a class of one, and aims to provide an absolutely pure driving experience devoid of things like power-steering or those pesky crumple zones. James is excited to spend some time in what is now a classic British roadster, and Thomas is excited to explain why the car being held together with glue is actually a good thing. We hope you enjoy the episode. Subscribe!

Huge thank you to Paul from Gentry Lane for loaning us their Lotus Elise! Which just sold! Check out the rest of their inventory here: https://www.gentrylane.com/
